Co-op programs: a gateway to employment
A co-op program is a great way to complete a recognized degree program while gaining meaningful work experience in a manufacturing company.
At Michelin in Canada, offer engineering co-ops for several disciplines. From Industrial Engineering to Capital Project and from maintenance to process control, we make sure your project or job role is consistent with your training and your level of studies.
Michelin is a group that gives us real projects and responsibilities during our co-op program. I gained more maturity and self-confidence after these first few months in the company.
Practical support on a day-to-day basis
From the day you report to work and throughout your four or eight month term, your supervisors, team members and mentors guide and support you throughout your program.
The company pays the cost of your training and pays you compensation corresponding to your level of studies. In addition to competitive compensation, you will also receive reimbursement for your travel expenses and access to shared accommodation (based on availability).
I was given real projects to work on that were genuinely useful for the organization, not just jobs to keep interns busy. I really feel like I'm part of the team and I appreciate the diversity of cultures in the Group.
