In partnership with the Nova Scotia Community College, Michelin's Technical Scholars Program selects students to develop hands-on work experience under the mentorship of experienced technicians, while completing their program of study. Additionally, the Tech Scholars program offers:
$3000 in tuition support;
summer employment at a Michelin facility;
priority consideration for part-time work while studying; and,
successful Tech Scholars are eligible for employment upon graduation.

Electro Mechanical Technician
Electrical Engineering Technology
Industrial Instrumentation
CRITERIA & FIRST STEPS
enrollment as a first year student in one of the qualifying programs above;
available for summer employment;
submit a resume through Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) Awards: www.nscc.ca/awards;
attend an information session; and,
successfully complete a general maintenance test.
The Technical Recruiting Coordinator will review the resumes and test results and invite selected applicants to participate in a behavioural interview.
EXPECTATIONS:
maintain good academic standing;
successfully complete a summer work term;
graduate from program of study; and,
pass a technical knowledge test.
Tech Scholars who are successful will receive an offer of employment following additional recruitment steps.
