Commercial Tyre Fitter – Barking Area

£30K + bonus + benefits
37.5 hours, Monday to Friday
No weekends • No call-outs • No roadside work

Are you looking to learn a new trade, or already experienced in tyre fitting?

We’re looking for a Commercial Tyre Fitter maintain tyres on our customer’s bus fleets in the Barking area.

This isn’t a typical tyre‑fitting role.


You won’t be out on the roadside, and you won’t be dealing with emergency callouts. You’ll be working directly from our customer’s bus depots, carrying out hands‑on work that keeps their fleet running safely every day.

This job offers routine, full training, and the space to get on with your tasks without being micromanaged. You’ll be trusted to manage your time and look after the tyres across the depots.

What the job involves

  • Servicing, checking and maintaining tyres on buses in the depot.

  • Managing your own daily workload.

  • Early starts usually around 5–6am.

  • Completing night‑time fleet inspections starting around midnight/1am once a week.

  • Using a simple IT system to record the work you’ve completed — full training is provided.

  • Working closely with depot staff and being a reliable presence on site.

  • Making sure tyres are safe and road‑ready.

  • Helping tyres last longer by spotting wear early and maintaining them properly.

What we’re looking for

You’ll do well here if you’re someone who:

  • Likes practical, hands‑on work.

  • Is organised and comfortable working independently.

  • Wants to learn a new trade or already has tyre‑fitting experience.

  • Takes pride in doing a job properly.

  • Is confident with basic IT after training.

A full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years is required.
You must have the right to work in the UK.
