Your team :
You will join the Performance Group of our global Research and Development center for systems and tracks, located in the heart of the beautiful Eastern Townships region. Thanks to the innovation, ingenuity, and passion of our 300 employees from a variety of professions, we are revolutionizing mobility for thousands of people every day. Your role :
Reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with the Validation Center team as well as the Product Development teams, you will be primarily responsible for technical planning and the monitoring of assigned tests.
We need you for :
Perform vehicle instrumentation for testing in order to validate product performance;
Conduct test kick-off meetings with requestors;
Carry out technical analysis and pre-tests required to validate the test protocol;
Document tests in detail using the appropriate forms;
Follow established test procedures and improve them as needed;
Follow up with collaborators as agreed based on the tests;
Perform preliminary analysis of results prior to official publication;
Produce accurate and complete reports in accordance with established standards;
Present test results to collaborators within prescribed deadlines;
Participate in the implementation of best practices in product validation;
Ensure the validity of maintenance and purchased sensors;
Ensure that various measuring instruments are properly calibrated;
Perform various instrumentation tests and measurements at the customer’s site;
Support various needs related to test benches.
What do you need to possess for being successful?
DEC in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline;
3 to 5 years of experience as an Instrumentation Technician;
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) – essential;
Good knowledge of MS Project and Visio – an asset;
Experience with NCode, Prusa Slicer, SolidWorks, TCE, and Siemens suite – an asset;
Knowledge of the recreational vehicle industry;
Bilingual (French and English), both spoken and written – essential;
Strong analytical skills and well-developed critical thinking;
Rigorous scientific approach with the ability to challenge concepts or methods tactfully and professionally;
Strong planning skills and autonomy;
Strong sense of responsibility and project ownership;
Team player with the ability to perform in a high-pressure environment;
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain positive working relationships;
Ability to thrive in a customer service-oriented environment.
