Your team:

Our validation center employs innovative and progressive methods and can count on a team of dedicated individuals. More than 800 physical tests and validations are carried out each year, ensuring that our customers receive reliable, at the cutting edge of technology.

Your role:

As part of the Method Group Manager's team, the selected candidate will play a key role in optimizing and creating test methods adapted to different types of products and conditions. His/her role will be to analyze, design and implement innovative test procedures that contribute to improving product reliability and quality, while meeting customer requirements and industry standards.

The person will work closely with the performance group and product development teams to develop methodologies that align with our strategic objectives. This position is essential to guarantee the accuracy, repeatability and validity of our tests.

We need you for:

  • Design methodologies to measure performance and replicate the right failure modes;
  • Analyze and understand the fundamental physical principles that influence the performance of products under test to define robust validation methods;
  • Interpret data from various tests on simulators or in the field, and establish methods for analyzing results and failure modes;
  • Industrialize test methods in compliance with norms and standards;
  • Produce technical documentation to support the implementation of methods with operations teams;
  • Review test validation plans for various simulators and vehicles;
  • Develop non-destructive testing methods as well as prototyping methods and/or sampling plans;
  • Supervise test execution in research mode through to standardization, and correlate test results with customer failure modes.

What do you need to possess for being successful?

  • You have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering;
  • You are a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec or in the process of becoming one;
  • You have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a mechanical engineering role;
  • You are at ease in a bilingual environment (French and English), so you can communicate both orally and in writing with your colleagues and our international customers;
  • You are familiar with CAD software (Creo would be an asset);
  • You have experience in creating procedures and using precision measurement tools;
  • You have excellent skills in diagnosing complex problems and proposing innovative solutions;
  • You have an aptitude for statistical analysis and a rigorous approach.
