Job Description

  • Reporting to the Customer Racing Director for Europe, you take full responsibility for the Customer Racing activity within your territory. In this role, You are responsible for deploying the tactical plan (products/services) within a defined scope and for implementing the corresponding targets and steer the overall performance of the managed scope (revenue, gross margin, etc.) and implement corrective actions when necessary.

  • Analyze your scope (market, players, competition, etc.) and recommend potential local strategic partnerships based on the “Where to Play” and “How to Win” criteria for growth opportunities.

  • You respond to tenders issued by promoters of the targeted championships in order to maintain or grow your business (Product, Service and Financial proposals).

  • You lead and manage the commercial relationship with your distributors (commercial terms, retro‑commission schemes, definition of expected service standards, tender management, etc.).

  • Explore and challenge the business cases for current and future offers and make optimization recommendations based on the territory assessment.

  • Supported by Technical Experts, you ensure customer satisfaction levels (both distributors and end users) assessed through NPS.

  • Influence, inspire, and collaborate with commercial counterparts by regularly providing competitive benchmarking analyses and customer feedback to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.

  • Given the specificities of Central Europe, you assess the accessible market potential in the zone and define the most suitable market access model (distribution) before supervising its implementation.

Your job with us:

  • You screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending investments.

  • You close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.

  • Follow-up the sales expectations and forecasts of sales.

  • You locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners.

  • You ensure Michelin representation at motorsport events, and check quality of service from our selected distributors.

  • Requires regular travelling, 15 to 20 events a year (mostly on weekends).

What you bring:

  • You are passionate about Motorsport and basic Motorsport knowledge is a big plus.

  • You have a passion for sales and can look back on 3 to 5 years sales experience.

  • You are enthusiastic, motivated, and good at listening to identify customer needs.

  • You have very good knowledge of English and French, Dutch is a plus.

  • You work independently, always keep an overview, are well organized, and do not give up easily.

  • You are enthusiastic about technical content.
