Your team:
You will join a dynamic and multicultural team based in Magog (Eastern Townships) and Sri Lanka, dedicated to innovation in materials for Michelin tracks. Here, collaboration is essential: expertise complements each other, ideas flow freely, and everyone contributes to transforming R&D ambitions into concrete achievements. Your role:
Do you enjoy challenges and contributing to high-impact projects? This position places you at the heart of the R&D strategy. Your mission: to fully understand needs in order to transform ideas into concrete projects, coordinate resources, ensure their feasibility, and guarantee their success at every stage. You will play a key role in planning, monitoring, and ensuring the smooth execution of projects, while contributing to the adoption of Michelin tools and methods.
We need you for:
Plan R&D projects by anticipating needs, structuring stages, and modeling data in planning tools.
Mobilize the necessary resources and adjust plans according to priorities and financial constraints.
Ensure feasibility by consolidating workloads and guaranteeing the availability of critical resources.
Monitor project progress, anticipate unforeseen events, and propose concrete solutions to meet deadlines and budgets.
Coordinate teams by leading steering committees and ensuring smooth communication between all stakeholders.
Guarantee the quality of requests related to products, materials, processes, and methods, ensuring they are complete and consistent.
Deploy Michelin tools and practices, train teams, and ensure their adoption in projects.
Contribute to collective performance by ensuring projects are well planned, executed without delays, and delivered with impact.
What do you need to possess for being successful?
You have a bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
You have at least 3 years of experience in R&D project management in a multicultural environment.
You are proficient in planning and analysis tools (Excel, PowerBI, Project).
You are highly adaptable and know how to collaborate with various stakeholders by referring to the right people in your network.
You can anticipate the impacts of a project and take a step back to fully understand the needs.
You are thorough, organized, and have strong analytical and coordination skills.
You are comfortable in a bilingual environment (French and English) and can communicate orally and in writing with your colleagues and our international partners.
